style advice ♥

hello friends ! sorry i haven't been on in a long time ! i've been a touch busy with dance camps and such (: anywho something i want to talk about today is doc martens ! now i've known about them for a while , but i never really gave them much thought until now . its harder to find these shoes in canada so i ordered some online . while i'm waiting for them to come in , i wanna know how you style your docs ! leave a comment below and let me know if you wanna see anything else or you're sick of me blabbing on about nothing :3

Okay my beauties , today we are going to talk about Miss Lana Del Ray . She has been one of my favourite artists and style influences in the last few months , and im not the only one . There is a certain nostalgia and roughness to her style , but she still manages to appear classy and elegant . Her full lips and her gently curled hair make her style unique and inticate . Her style can seem hard to imitate , but with a few beauty and style tips it can be simple !
 
Looking to dress like Lana ?
- go shopping at thrift stores . look for items with high necks and frilly or lacey collars .
- layer necklaces ! try mixing old looking gold and silver with lace or bows .
- go for matching a printed bottom (high waisted shorts or an a line skirt ♥ ) with a plain top .
- fabrics ; jean , knit , lace , silk , printed florals
 
Wanna duplicate her makeup ?

- Lana aslo has pretty intense liner , usually winged out on the edges . i'll link a collection at the end of this with a few examples .
 
Finally , her hair !
- Lana's classic loose curl is really simple to match . curl your hair with a large barrel and immediately after releasing , brush the curl with a roller brush . sprits yer hair with hair spray after to ensure your look stays .

Okay so lately i've been absolutely ADDICTED to triangle jewelry ! There's just something about triangles that i'm loving lately . I'm really loving the triangle studs in this set because they're minimalistic, but different than the classic circle stud ( and not cheesy like those cheap studs you get from like claire's that are in the shape of cats and tacos ) . Depending on how it's worn, triangle jewelry can be seen as hipster, or cute and classy . Wearing simple peices ( like the ring , studs, or even the necklaces ) can add a little something to everyday outfits like jeans and a tshirt , or can add class to a dress for a special occasion . Wearing multiple peices together gives a look a boho vibe . Its definately a trend i'd love to see happen !
